Government of Kenya: Second Order Draft Review Workshop for the IPCC Special Report on Climate Change and Cities

The Kenya Meteorological Department, with support from the African Group of Negotiators Experts Support (AGNES), will convene an in-person Government Review Workshop on the Second Order Draft of the IPCC Special Report on Climate Change and Cities from 30 June to 2 July 2026 in Nairobi. This workshop builds on an earlier virtual engagement with experts, policymakers and practitioners at national, subnational and local levels. The virtual session introduced to the experts the Special Report, its chapters, the review requirements and the process for submitting comments. The in-person session will provide a further opportunity to deepen technical feedback, consolidate inputs and align comments ahead of the submission deadline.
