Yasmine IBARIN
Yasmine IBARIN is a Research Assistant at the UNFCCC Regional Collaboration Center for West and Central Africa. As part of the Cohort XV of the climate governance, diplomacy and negotiation Leadership Program of the African Group of Negotiators Experts Support (AGNES Africa), she deepened her understanding of the climate change landscape under the Paris agreement, negotiations methodologies, carbon markets, climate leadership and climate finance.
Before joining the RCC team, Yasmine works as project assistant on the GIZ decentralization and local governance program in Togo, where she assist in the drawing up of a Communal Development Plan and projects planning. She also gained valuable experience as a Development Planning Assistant at the Ministry of Planning, Development and Cooperation, within the Directorate of Planning and Development Policies. A laureate of the Programme of Excellence for Women in Africa (PEWA, Togo), her expertise spans consulting, problem-solving, critical thinking, and project management.
