Yannick
Yannick is a dedicated consultant with a robust background in computer science and environmental management. he holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of the People and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Computer Science at the International University of Applied Sciences, as well as a Master’s in Environmental Science Management at Yesbud University. Yannick collaborates with the Ministry of Environment, Protection of Nature, and Sustainable Development in Cameroon, various international organizations, and stakeholders involved in climate change efforts in Cameroon. His expertise includes GHG inventory estimation, Article 6 follow-up, NDC revision and implementation, LT-LEDS, BUR, and BTR development and assessment. He also contributes to the development and execution of mitigation and adaptation strategies and policies. He serves as an expert reviewer for the TERT within the UNFCCC roster of experts.
In addition to her consulting work, Yannick provides capacity building for various stakeholders through several initiatives in Cameroon. He is also actively involved in associations advocating for climate change justice and gender resilience. Moreover, Yannick has participated in the evaluation of abatement costs for several mitigation and adaptation projects linked to different climate policies in Cameroon, reinforcing her commitment to driving sustainable development in the region.
