WAFULA, Edwin Wekesa
Edwin is an accomplished Project Monitoring & Evaluation Professional with an extensive track record of over 15 years in Project Management and Programme Monitoring and Evaluation. His expertise lies in adeptly planning, organizing, and managing resources to achieve project objectives within predefined constraints. Edwin’s proficiency encompasses Monitoring and Evaluation, Project/Program Management, and implementing Programme Accountability Frameworks. He leverages computer-based data analysis tools and strategic community engagement to ensure tangible results reach the intended beneficiaries.
Edwin’s experience spans various organizations, including SOS Children’s Villages International in Kenya, Care International in Kenya, Terre des Hommes Netherlands across multiple African countries and currently with the Pan African Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA) where he leads the Monitoring Evaluation Accountability and Learning function within the Project Management Unit. He emphasizes putting stakeholders at the forefront of shaping organizations’ programming agendas, aligning interests of interest groups, donors, communities, and implementing agencies.
Edwin’s academic background complements his practical expertise. He holds a Master of Arts Degree in Project Planning and Management with a specialization in Monitoring and Evaluation, alongside an undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Physics, both from the University of Nairobi. His educational pursuits are augmented by postgraduate Diplomas in Micro-Finance from Strathmore University and Project Management from the Kenya Institute of Management. Edwin’s passion for co-creating solutions resonates throughout his work, aligning with his belief that Monitoring Evaluation Accountability and Learning thrive on collaborative problem-solving.
