Thabang Ts’ehlo
Thabang Ts’ehlo is a hydrologist/hydrological Engineer and Water resources management practitioner with hands–on experience in hydrological operations planning, implementation and management, water resources management and associated project management in planning and design, operation and management of water resource using activities. He has a B.Sc. in Applied Earth Sciences – National University of Lesotho; Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Hydrological Engineering specializing in Water Resources Management – International Institute for Infrastructure, Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering (IHE) – Delft The Netherlands and MBA- Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College – UK, in Consultation with Management College of South Africa (MANCOSA).
He is a member of the National Climate Change Committee (NCCC) of Lesotho – providing advisory services on climate change issues at national level and actively involved in mainstreaming of climate change issues for planning and design, operation and management of water using activities. He has provided consultancy services to prepare a comprehensive report on water sector to be included as a sub-chapter under Vulnerability and Adaptation (V&A) in the Third National Communication (TNC) of Lesotho to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
Currently he serves as a hydrologist in the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) of the Lesotho Lowlands Water Development Project Phase II (LLWDP II)-category A World Bank and European Investment Bank (EIB) funded Project.
