Sydicks
Sydicks is a governance and sustainability researcher thriving to be a global consultant in programme and project planning, designing management and evaluation. He holds an M.S.c. in Development Studies, an M.S.c. in Climate Change and Sustainable Development and a B.S.c. in Politics and Public Management obtained from the Midlands State University in Zimbabwe. Currently Sydicks is the learning and communications lead at the Climate Action Network Zimbabwe. Sydicks is also the Conflict and Climate Resilience Lead at Southern Africa Youth Initiative Trust, where he deals with the intersection between climate change, peace and security in the southern African region. Sydicks has experience in coordinating projects, which involves engaging young people and senior government officials in executing programme activities. With 7 cumulative years of experience, Sydicks has been grounded in the domains of evidence building, capacity development skills training, development research, policy research and analysis. He has also conducted collaborative workshops at the continental level on governance, climate security and regional and international institution policy issues. He has avid interests in climate change, transparency, inclusion of women and young people in civic participation and good governance processes.
