Solomon Bhaghabhonerano
Solomon Bhaghabhonerano is the Founder and Executive Director of LIVE IN GREEN, a refugee-led organization focused on environmental conservation, food security, and education within refugee communities. He also serves as the Director of Programs at Kyaka II Refugee-Led Organizations Network (KRLON), a Network aimed at advocacy, Coordination, development and community empowerment.
Solomon has a strong background in humanitarian work, having previously worked with Windle International Uganda in several key roles, including Logistics Officer, Alumni Desk Officer, and Coordinator of the Students Resource Centre. His leadership experience extends to Makerere University, where he co-founded the Makerere University DAFI Students Association (MUDASA), serving in various roles such as President, Vice President, Speaker, and Legal Advisor. Solomon’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from Makerere University, which has fuelled his passion for environmental sustainability and community development. Through his work, Solomon continues to drive positive change for displaced and marginalized communities.
