Shadrack is a Research Officer at the African Group of Negotiators Experts Support (AGNES) with a background in Environmental Sciences, Climate Change, and Sustainability. He has over five years of experience working at the science–policy–practice interface, supporting climate policy processes, international climate negotiations, and capacity-building initiatives across Africa. His work focuses on generating evidence to inform decision-making, strengthening technical and institutional capacities, and advancing inclusive and effective climate action at national, regional, and global levels.
He maintains strong interests in Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing, particularly their application to climate-related challenges. His interests include spatial analysis for climate risk and vulnerability assessment, mapping of climate change hotspots, and the use of geospatial tools to support adaptation planning, mitigation strategies, and evidence-based climate policy and programming.
