Samuel Ngei
Samuel is a passionate and meticulous environmental and extractives governance programs and projects expert from Kenya with many years of expertise in natural resources advocacy, research, and programme and project management. Over time, he has gained advanced expertise in project planning, coordination and management, stakeholders, and partner management. He has advanced expertise in policy advocacy, campaigns, partnerships, and movement building. Currently, he is the Project Officer- Natural Resources and Climate Governance at Transparency International Kenya leading work on Land, Extractives and Energy. Previously, he served as a Deputy Programme Officer, Extractives in the same Organization. Prior to joining TI-Kenya, Samuel worked with Globalink Consulting Limited as an Environmental Consultant and Green Kenya Corporation as an Environmental Officer where he was greatly involved in carrying out Environmental Impacts Assessments and Audits for proposed and operating projects. He is trained in Environmental Management with a bias in Environmental Conservation and Natural Resources Management with a BSc. in Natural Resources Management from Egerton University. He is also a NEMA registered Associate Expert and a member of the Environment Institute of Kenya (EIK).
