Ojore Tom Ochieng
Ojore Tom Ochieng is an advocate of the High Court of Uganda and a member of the East African Law Society with 16 years of speciality in Corporate due diligence, Mergers & Acquisitions , Transactional advisory services in renewable energy , mining and commercial leasing for development projects & corporate legal services. He holds a Bachelors of Laws Degree from Makerere University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Income Tax and Revenue Administration from the East African School of Taxation and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre Kampala.
He has worked over the years as a transactional advisor in major renewal energy and mining projects including the Tororo PV Power Solar Project at Kispodo Osukuru ,Limestone Mining Project by Tororo cement at Kaserem Kapchorwa , the Fertilizer & Iron Ore Project at Osukuru Dongsong Mining Project . He has been a lead negotiator in acquisition of over 10,000 acres of land for development of a commercial tree plantation project in Bugiri District by New Forest Company Ltd.
He is currently the Managing partner of ACA a legal & Financial Advisory firm and the Company Secretary of Kirinya Sugar Factory Estates Ltd, having previously worked with the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) Uganda as in house counsel, Public Procurement & Disposal Authority (PPDA) as in house Counsel and Head of Corporate Legal Services Hariss International Ltd (Riham). He is passionate about environmental sustainability and is a climate negotiator trained by African Group of Negotiators Expertise Support (AGNES) COHORT XII .
