Ohas, Augustine Brown is currently an Assistant Director at Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT), Zaria, Kaduna, Nigeria. I have MSc in Maritime Affairs from the World Maritime University, Malmo, Sweden, B.Tech in Maritime Mgt Technology from Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO),  Member of the Pool of Experts (PoE) of the United Nations Regular Process at United Nations Division for Ocean Affairs and the Law of The Sea (UNDOALOS). Visiting Lecturer at Federal University of Transportation, Daura, Katsina State. I participate in the co-ordination of short courses on Port Operations and Management, Adaptive Port Planning, Ballast Water Management, Marine Environmental Management, Management and Regulation of Marine Litters, Sustainable Blue Economy, Climate Change and Adaptation Planning for Ports and Inland waterways, Marine Spatial Planning, Sustainable Marine Resources: Enhancing Biodiversity in Nigerian Coastal Waterways, Marine and Coastal Planning and Management etc I co-ordinate Ocean Literacy Programme in my office, Coordinator Ocean Decade Action “Ocean Conservation and Stewardship in Nigeria”, I participate in research work in Marine Environment/Climate Change related topics, GHG Inventory Compilation. I have done several online training programme on Climate Change and I am a member of the Climate Reality Leadership Corps, Inland Ocean Ambassadors, African Network of Deep-water Researchers, Early Career Ocean Professionals (ECOPs) etc. Member, Chartered Institute of Transport Administration (CIOTA).
