Nzabandora Venant
Nzabandora Venant is a climate advocate and community development volunteer from Rwanda with over seven years of teaching experience. Currently serving as a CorpsAfrica/Rwanda Volunteer, he works with communities using Human-Centered Design (HCD) and Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) to drive sustainable solutions.
He has participated in numerous international programs, including the Trevor Noah Foundation Education Change Makers at the YALI Regional Leadership Center in Kenya, the Aspire Leadership Program at Harvard Business School, and the 9th Global Capacity-Building Workshop on Global Citizenship Education (GCED) by APCEIU. Venant is also a recipient of the Global Educators Scholarship at the Youth Assembly in New York and has participated in the World Youth Festival 2024 in Russia and UNLEASH Rwanda Innovation Lab 2023.
His certifications include Digital Marketing, Positive Discipline in Everyday Teaching, Enhancing Inclusivity and Accessibility to Climate Technologies (UNITAR), Data Analysis with R Programming, and STEM Education. Additionally, he has received digital skills training from GIZ and serves as a climate ambassador under the Mastering En-ROADS Climate Simulation program. Venant’s work focuses on climate resilience, education, and community empowerment.
