Nurein Akindele has almost a decade of corporate experience as a development professional, climate policy consultant and technologist. With an engineering background, he has led and supported research projects related to inclusive finance, agribusiness, edutech, and climate resilience in low-and middle-income economies. In the past year, he launched a platform to promote the gamification of global development skills via live simulations, tournaments, public debates, and quizzes to bridge the talent gap in global development goals among African youths.

Nurein is the team lead for research initiatives at Agramondis, an agribusiness advisory company where he co-authors Nigeria’s agribusiness industry survey report read by hundreds of professionals to keep a pulse on trends. He is passionate about development, not  as aid but as an avenue to leverage evidence-based research to alleviate poverty in emerging markets.
