Muunga Hansingo is an astute Climate change enthusiast and Disaster Management Professional with hands on experience in Emergency response management, Community preparedness planning, resilience building & engagement, as well as advocacy. A trained Climate leader with an MA in climate change and Global sustainability (NIPA), & another MA in Public Administration (University of Lusaka). A fellow of AGNES-Africa, Green Institute, Global Alliance of Universities in Climate (GAUC) as well as an Afri-Learn Climate Ambassador (Nigeria).

Muunga Hansingo is a District Disaster Management Officer for Kawambwa District (Zambia), under the Disaster Management &Mitigation Unit (DMMU) in the office of the Vice President. She serves as secretariat for the District Disaster Management Committee (DDMC) and holds several portfolios in various district committees including Red Cross.
