Ms. Mary
Ms. Mary is an Environmental Planner and Manager by profession, a climate change negotiator and a policy practitioner. Passionate about youth development and environmental conservation. Ms. Mary has engaged in Multilateral Environmental Agreements and Intergovernmental processes within the UN System as well as in Civil Society. She is experienced in solving issues beyond triple planetary crisis at local, national and global level.
Privileged to be among migration and displacement experts, policy makers and researchers who drafted key messages to government of Africa Climate Summit 2023 (ACS) and the UNFCCC COP28 Climate Change Conference 2023.
Ms. Mary represented high climate risk areas of Africa, the Pacific, Asia, and Latin America
& the Caribbean regions at COP28. She is a Human Rights practitioner of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, Sustainable Development and Law at the University of Cambridge. A Youth Negotiator honoured to be part of the African Group of Negotiators Experts Support (AGNES) through Climate Governance, Diplomacy and Negotiations Leadership Program.
