Ms. Ahabwe Percy
Ms. Ahabwe Percy is a conservation Biology Professional with hands-on experience in environmental management, community engagement and advocacy. She has a BSc. in Conservation Biology from Makerere University. A serial volunteer with several NGOs. She is currently a project officer for “Strengthening resilience in communities reliant on wetlands and conservation of critical biodiversity” project under Nature Uganda where she has led initiatives aimed at supporting communities neighbouring critical wetlands with sustainable and alternative livelihood sources to protect wetlands plus educate them on the need to maintain wetlands/biodiversity in its natural state.
Ms. Ahabwe is also an advocate for environmental sustainability and pollution control through her volunteer service in Uganda Wildlife Conservation Education waste management department.
