Mohamedin Hussein
Mohamedin Hussein is a distinguished leader in the realm of youth empowerment and sustainable development, holding several prestigious positions both nationally and globally. Currently serving as the Chairperson of the UNESCO Youth Forum under the Kenya National Commission for UNESCO, Mohamedin’s commitment to fostering youth engagement and participation is unparalleled. His contributions extend to the international arena, where he is an active member of the Youth Steering Committee at UNESCO’s East Africa Regional Office and was selected to serve on the global UNESCO Youth Steering Committee for the 42nd UNESCO General Conference during 13th UNESCO Youth Forum.
In addition to his formal roles, Mohamedin is sought after by government ministries and organizations for his expertise in planning and advising on various youth-related initiatives. His involvement in capacity-building programs and dialogues with organizations such as UNESCO-UNEVOC, UNEP, and UN Women underscores his commitment to driving positive change at both local and global levels.

Despite his leadership roles, he has 1st class honor in Bachelor in Science in Analytical Chemistry and will graduate in June 2024 making him exceptional in academics.
