Minenhle Mac Ngwenya
Minenhle is a passionate international development practitioner with background training in Agricultural Economics from the University of Zimbabwe at undergraduate level. In addition, Minenhle has post graduate qualifications in Development Policy and Practice from the University of Cape Town (South Africa) and currently in the final stages of his Masters in Strategic Management from the National University of Science and Technology (Zimbabwe)
Minenhle has hands on, 19 years development practitioner experience in international development with organisations such as Welthungerhilfe, SNV – Netherlands Development Organisation and World Vision. His background technical expertise is in agriculture and rural development, market systems development, private sector development, livelihoods, enterprise development and resilience building.
He is competent in facilitating institutional change, systems development, brokering partnerships, knowledge development and facilitating policy lobby and advocacy. Related to the climate change discourse, Minenhle has worked in the climate smart agriculture space with exposure to climate change solutions such as Climate Smart Landscapes, Zero Deforestation Supply Chains, Future Farms, Green Value Chains and Resilient Food Systems.
