Michael O. Okello is an astute Lawyer and aspiring scholar in sustainability law and public policy in the 21^st Century. He has experience in legislative drafting, legal and policy research, and urban land economics and sustainable development. He holds an LL.B Degree, B.A in Land Economics and M.Sc. Sustainable Urban Development under Education for Sustainable Urban Development in Africa (ESDA) Program, all in the University of Nairobi. He completed Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Kenya School of Law. A serial volunteer and youth leader for several years, he is currently completed his Advocate Traineeship Program at the Office of Attorney General &Department of Justice in Kenya and currently a Property Officer at Kenya Electricity and GENERATING Company in Kenya. Michael is a peer leader who has held various positions in professional circles. immediate former Honorary Secretary of the Valuers Chapter (Institution of Surveyors of Kenya). He is a Licensed Valuer, Registered Estate Agent, Full Member of Institution of Surveyors of Kenya (ISK). Michael has earned awards and recognition for his leadership, innovative ideas and multi-disciplinary academic works at the University of Nairobi ESDA Symposium, KenGen Innovative Seminars, Regional Conferences of the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya and has participated in numerous workshops across the globe on governance, sustainability and law.
