Meseret Habtamu Cheru
My name is Meseret Habtamu Cheru, currently a PhD Student at Addis Ababa University in the department of Environmental Science and a lecturer at Kotebe University of Education. I teach students on Climate Change, environmental sustainability, Environmental policy and the SDGs. I completed my master’s degree in Environmental Science and bachelor degree in Applied Biology at Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. Before joining the University, I worked with Lem the environment and development society /local NGO/ as an environmental Officer. While working at Lem Ethiopia, I provided trainings on natural resource management, climate change adaptation, and biodiversity management to various target groups across different regions of Ethiopia. I was COP 28 delegate of Africa Youth. I was also Alumni of Nairobi summer school. I have 8 research publications on different environmental issues.
