Melanie Wangui Kamau is a Disaster Risk Management professional with hands – on experience in risk management , community engagement and climate change.Shehas a B.Sc. in Disaster Risk Management and Sustainable Development, graduated In Co-operative University of Kenya. A serial volunteer for several NGOs, she is currently a volunteer  Team Assistant at THRIVE Project Australia which focuses on environmental sustainability efforts all round the world.
