Liza Ayoo
Liza Ayoo is a graduate Urban and Regional Planner with hands-on experience in spatial analysis, community engagement, and sustainable development. She holds a B.Sc. in Geography and Environmental Studies and an M.Sc. in Urban and Regional Planning, both from the University of Nairobi. A dedicated contributor to multiple projects, she is currently a Researcher at the Busara Center for Behavioral Economics, where she works on multiple projects, focusing on improving food security and resilience in the global south.
An award-winning contributor to the Commonwealth Association of Planners’ Young Planners Award, Liza has participated in policy reviews and the integration of GIS and remote sensing into sustainable development strategies. By aligning her work with her vision, Liza is passionate about leveraging innovative planning techniques to create climate-resilient, sustainable, and inclusive communities across Africa.
