Lateef Abdulsalam is a transformative leader that inspires teams to embrace new ideas concepts, and work together to achieve sustainability goals.. He is currently the Manager Health and Safety with American Tower Corporation (ATC) Nigeria wireless infrastructure Limited. Prior to joining ATCN he has served as Manager Occupational health and safety with responsibility on sustainability for Etisalat Nigeria, where he led the development and implementation of a comprehensive sustainability strategy. Lateef has advanced through different professional trainings to achieve functional expertise in: Business Resilience, Sustainability-ESG,Safety Instrumentation Systems for Process industries, International Environmental Law, and Project Management. Lateef has attended several Harvard managementor training program on leadership capacity skill development (Strategic thinking, leading people, coaching, global collaboration, delegation, diversity and inclusion, Negotiating, business process improvement and project management etc).
Lateef hold a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management from the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, and a Master’s in Environmental Resources Management from Lagos State University Ojo, Diploma in International Environmental Law from United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) Geneva as well as a post graduate certificate in Data Science and Business Analytic from University of Texas at Austin, McComb School of Business USA,as well as Professional Certificate of Competency in Safety Instrumentation Systems for Process Industries
Lateef is a qualified Lead Auditor (OHSAS 1800:2007/ISO 14001:2015/ISO 9001:2015), Certified Business Resilience Manager and IT Disaster Recovery Manager (CBRM-IT). Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt. He is a Fellow of Leadership for Environment and Development (LEAD) with network and presence in over 80 Countries. He has contributed to the global body of knowledge on occupational health, safety and Environmental resources management with published papers in reputable international journals both within and outside Nigeria. Served as subject-matter expert (QHSE Lead) in the construction of first Nigeria tier two Data Centre supporting over 5,000 Base Transceiver Stations that support over 22 million subscribers in Nigeria.
