Koffi Doh David ADZAVON
Koffi Doh David ADZAVON is an environmental economics researcher pursuing a PhD at the Center for Environmental Economics in Montpellier. His research primarily focuses on the intersections of climate change, deforestation, and conflicts in tropical regions. He holds two master’s degrees: one in Informatics for Climate Change from Université Joseph Ki-Zerbo (Burkina Faso) and another in Economics, Environment, Energy, and Transports (EEET) from AgroParisTech (France). Koffi has experience in forest management, climate migration, and socio-economic impact assessments, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative research methods. He has collaborated with notable institutions such as INRAE (France), WASCAL, and Climate Analytics in Togo, and is proficient in tools like R, Python, GIS, among others.
In addition, Koffi is actively involved in climate change adaptation initiatives in Togo. He serves as the community manager at Un1fy (Togo) and is a member of the Réseau Climat Jeunesse Francophone (Togo). His dedication to climate communication has led him to engage in numerous awareness-raising activities, promoting sustainable practices within local communities.
