Kelvin Ngachira Ndegwa
Kelvin Ngachira Ndegwa is an accomplished professional in agriculture, entrepreneurship, and community development. He holds a BSc in Agricultural Economics and Resource Management from Moi University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Personality Skills and Entrepreneurship Development from Bharata Sevak Samaj College, India. As the Co-Founder and Programs Manager of Serene Haven CBO, Kelvin has spearheaded projects that empower marginalized communities, including the Serene Haven Educational Program, which supports teenage mothers in reentering secondary education. He has led climate-focused initiatives like the PROPEL project, which promotes sustainable water use and agroforestry in arid regions.
Kelvin is also a fellow of several prestigious programs, including the Climate Governance, Diplomacy, and Negotiations Leadership Program by AGNES, the Tony Elumelu Foundation’s BeGreen Africa Entrepreneurship Program, and the BRACE Fellowship by African Food Changemakers. His leadership in grassroots action has earned him roles such as Youth Representative for the FAO World Food Forum Youth Assembly. Passionate about environmental sustainability and social impact, Kelvin continues to advocate for climate action and community-driven development.
