Jane Njuguna
Jane Njuguna is a passionate advocate for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a particular focus on SDGs 4 (Quality Education), 5 (Gender Equality),13 (Climate Action). She is actively engaged in various volunteer capacities, including as a member of YOUNGO-UNFCCC, where she contributes to the Human Rights and Migration & Climate Change Working Groups. Jane also serves as an events and program manager at the Climate Mobility Community Action Network (CMCAN), a startup organization based in Canada.
Additionally, Jane volunteers with the Association of Intersex Persons (AIP) as a Youth Programs Volunteer, where she helps raise awareness about the rights of intersex individuals. She has previously worked with the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs as a seasonal officer in the Americas and Caribbean Directorate, playing a key role in organizing the Kenyan president’s state visit to the United States.
Jane is an alumna of the Climate Governance, Diplomacy, and Negotiations Leadership Program, facilitated by the African Group of Negotiators Experts Support. She also served as the 2023 Campus Director for the Millennium Fellowship. Jane holds a diploma in International Relations and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in the same field at Daystar University.
