Jacob Nyawanga is a passionate advocate for sustainable development in Africa, with a background in finance and a deep commitment to climate action. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from Jomo Kenyatta University and is a Certified United People Global (UPG) Sustainability Leader.
Jacob’s leadership experience spans various sectors. He has actively championed youth empowerment and environmental advocacy through his work with Echo Change and International Model United Nations. His ambition lies at the intersection of public policy, finance, and climate change, aiming to achieve sustainable economic development across Africa.
Jacob’s diverse experiences include working as a Trade Finance Consultant at Euro Exim Bank, demonstrating his commercial acumen. Jacob’s dedication to social impact is evident in his role as a Global Change Ambassador for Echo Change and Fellow at The Room. These experiences showcase his ability to connect and collaborate across borders and advocate for positive change.
