Ilhan Abass is an accomplished strategic leader with over 17 years of diverse experience in finance, climate change mitigation, governance, policy formulation, stakeholder management, and devolution. With a strong background in public-private partnerships, business improvement, and project management, she has led high-impact initiatives, including waste management reforms and climate policy development in Mombasa County. As the Director Liaison at the County Government of Wajir, Ilhan oversees collaborations with development partners, government agencies, and ministries. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Kenya Methodist University and is pursuing an MBA in Marketing at Mount Kenya University. Ilhan has completed the Advanced Management Program at Strathmore Business School, with global exposure from IESE Business School in Spain, and holds a Climate Finance Certificate from COM SSA.
