Hope Aluoch Okuthe has a robust background in Social Development with an interest in renewable energy and climate change. With over 10 years of experience in social development strategies, she is dedicated to integrating renewable energy initiatives within social development frameworks. She is committed to fostering sustainable solutions that impact communities. Her expertise lies in devising inclusive strategies that promote equitable access to renewable energy resources, especially for marginalized communities, enhancing livelihoods while mitigating environmental impact. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Delhi University, India and MA in Social Development and Management from Maseno University, Kenya.
Throughout her career, Hope has demonstrated a strong commitment to empowering communities particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa by advocating for inclusive policies and projects that integrate renewable energy solutions for sustainable development. She has successfully collaborated with diverse stakeholders including governments, NGOs, local communities and international organisations, fostering partnerships and initiatives focused on enhancing energy access, climate resilience and social equity.
