Getrude Chege
Getrude Chege is a seasoned Sustainability Project Manager and Senior Electrical Engineer with over 18 years of experience in the oil and gas sector. She currently serves as a Senior Engineer in the energy sector, specializing in project construction management, renewable energy initiatives, and risk & quality assurance.
With a Bachelor of Science in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and a Master of Arts in Project Planning & Management, she brings a robust combination of technical expertise and strategic insight. she has undertaken several professional trainings and certifications and is a certified ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor and Certified Energy Manager (CEM). She is also a member of the Africa Project Finance Alumni Association. Getrude has complemented her experience with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Nairobi with a focus on Environmental and Climate Change Law.
Her work includes designing renewable energy solutions, leading major infrastructure projects, and conducting enterprise-wide risk assessments. Getrude is passionate about energy transition, climate change, and advancing clean energy adoption.
