Freeman Elohor OLUOWO
Freeman Elohor OLUOWO is an environmental, green growth and stakeholders’ engagement specialist. A fine researcher with research interest cutting across global change, aquatic pollution, coastal and marine environment, with over fifteen scholarly publications ResearchGate. He has participated in over forty (40) social and environmental impact assessments and oil spill management studies in Nigeria. He is the Founder and Centre Coordinator for African Centre for Climate Actions and Rural Development Initiative (ACCARD). He Holds an International Masters (M.Sc) degree in Marine-based Ecosystem Management and Climate Change from the Norwegian Research Agency and Development program based in Nha Trang University, Vietnam, and Masters (MSc) in Environmental Quality Management and Ecotoxicology from University of Benin, Nigeria. Others are Diploma in the Laws of the Seas from the Korean Maritime Institute. Certificates in Resilient Fisheries Governance and Climate Change Adaptation in Food Security and Natural Resource Management both from Wageningen University and Research Netherlands, Project Management, and Health and Safety Management. Currently, leading a new United Nations Convention for Conserving River Deltas (UNCCRD) and DeltasUNite Network with other stakeholders.
