Everlyne Dede
Everlyne Dede is a project cycle management specialist with experience in gender transformative programming in disaster risk reduction, resilience building, youth employability, inclusive quality education, orphans and vulnerable children and early childhood development. She holds a Bachelor of Art Degree in Sociology from Moi University, Kenya.
Everlyne has worked in various organizations as a Program Officer. She is currently a Project Officer at Plan International Kenya. Her current roles entail designing and implementing projects that are gender transformative with a focus on protecting girls and young women in crisis, community-led climate change adaptation and working with communities especially women and girls who are vulnerable and excluded by building their skills and entrepreneurial competencies in order to have access to information, opportunities and linkages to business development services.
Everlyne is passionate about empowering communities, building their resilience and ensuring meaningful participation especially for young people. She has worked with a team of youth advocates to create awareness at the community level on climate justice.
