Erick W. Githaiga
Erick W. Githaiga is a seasoned professional in Diplomacy and International Relations with a strong background in multilateral leadership, foreign policy, conflict resolution and management, and global relations. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Diplomacy with Information Technology from Maseno University, Kenya.
Mr. Githaiga has actively volunteered with numerous international organizations and local NGOs in Kenya. He currently serves as the Resident Ambassador for Future Generations in Kenya under the United Nations Office at Nairobi. Additionally, he is the Kenyan Lead for Delivery at the African Union ECOSOCC Kenya Secretariat, where he contributes to integrating Africa’s youthful population in shaping their desired future, as outlined in the Declaration on Future Generations adopted at the UN Summit of the Future and the African Union Agenda 2063.
He is also the Team Leader and Operations Manager for the Maseno University International Relations Scholars Association, where he currently serves as the Chairperson.
As a Climate Diplomat, trained by the Africa Group Negotiators Expert Support Group (AGNES) Cohort XVI, Mr. Githaiga is a passionate advocate for peaceful coexistence and youth-led initiatives in global environmental sustainability.
