Enock Sangaka Mong’are
Enock Sangaka Mong’are is a climate change enthusiast with five years experience in environmental conservation, climate change adaptation, sustainable agriculture and climate education. He has a B.Sc. in Chemistry from Pwani university and Post-graduate diploma in education. Additionally, he is a volunteer of several organizations like Kenya Red Cross Society and Democratising Education for Global Sustainability and Justice. An alumni of the Young Africa Leaders Initiative Regional Leadership Center East Africa, East Africa Community Youth Fellowship and the Kenya Climate Innovation Centre, he is a dedicated youth and community leader.
He is the current chairperson and programs coordinator at Green Initiative Kakuma where he has organized several youth training sessions on climate change, environmental conservation and sustainable agriculture.
A trained Climate governance, diplomacy and negotiations leader, he represents his organization at the Kenya Climate Change Working Group.
