Claire Lokeris Pedo is a Natural Resource Economist with hands – on experience in program coordination, community engagement and advocacy. She has a B.Sc. in Natural Resource Economics and is currently pursuing a M.Sc. in Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management, at Busitema University. She is currently the Community and Fellowships Manager at Girls For Climate Action where she supports the movement membership and fellows on capacity building and advocacy projects. She also volunteers as the Deputy Director for Research at Eco-Climate Vision.

Claire is the Co-Founder, Eco-Right Defenders Network, a civil society organization focused on enhancing an environment and a safe space for environmental and climate advocates.

She is also a trained National Youth Climate Negotiator in her country.
