Chiugo
Chiugo is a Climate and sustainable development specialist with extensive experience in energy, extractives, and sustainability, focusing on transparency, governance, and civic space protection. She specialises in advocacy for transitioning African governments and companies towards renewable energy sources, with a proven track record of research and analysis in sustainable development and just energy transition policy. She serves on the Advisory Council of the Global Shapers Community (initiative of the Worls Economic Forum), supporting governance and impact workstreams, as well as a Special Advisor for the Global Council on Transition Minerals to the Paris Peace Forum.
She is also a Strategic Advisor for the London Young Professionals in Foreign
Policy group. In addition to these roles, she leads the Climate Leadership Fellowship as a Program Manager, leading partnership, fundraising and
capacity-building efforts to promote climate change awareness, advocacy and action for young climate leaders in Nigeria. She has a Master’s Degree in International Energy from Sciences Po, Paris. She is multilingual in English, Igbo, French, Chinese, Norwegian, and Spanish.
