Caroline Syombua
Caroline Syombua is a Bachelor of Laws Degree graduate from the University of Nairobi with work experience in different fields, having worked for the Centre for Behaviour Change and Communication (CBCC), the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS), the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) and KPMG Kenya. In 2023, she began expanding her knowledge on Climate Change and environmental matters, which have always been an area of interest to her. She was part of the 10 Billion Strong Green Leaders’ Academy in 2023 and has done a short course on the Global environment Facility (GEF) by the World Bank Group. She hopes to eventually participate in development projects in Kenya with the aim of incorporating climate action in decision-making in all socio-economic areas. As a singer-songwriter, she also aspires to participate in and propel behaviour change for climate action using music to transform the minds and actions of Kenyans and the world at large. Her other hobbies include crochet and illustrating.
