Alex Nduah Nderi
Alex Nduah Nderi is a Program Research Associate, working with the Climate Action lever at the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT. He has accumulated extensive experience working with international organizations such as the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT), World Agroforestry Centre and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), where he worked on socio-ecological ecosystem restoration for both natural and human-modified ecosystems, Climate Smart Agriculture, Science-Policy dialogues, Environmental and Social Safeguards, and Climate Finance projects. He recently completed a leadership program in Climate Governance, Diplomacy, and Negotiations with the African Group of Negotiators Expert Support (AGNES), further enhancing his capacity to engage in international climate diplomacy, dialogues and negotiations. Nduah is currently pursuing a PhD in Ecology and Environmental Biology at Nottingham Trent University with his research project focusing on biocultural restoration of ecosystems in Kenya. He holds an MSc in Ecosystem Management and Conservation from Newcastle University, supported by a Chevening Scholarship, and a BSc in Environmental Conservation and Natural Resources Management from the University of Nairobi.
