I’m Aden Ahmed Hassen, a passionate advocate for the Environment and Climate Change and a firm believer in the urgent need to address climate change.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Geography and Environmental Studies – from Jigjiga University, Ethiopia.

Master of Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability- Amoud University and I have 7 years of experience working in Climate Change programs and environmental and Social Impact Assessment professional, natural resources management and DRM.

Currently, I am the Climate Change and Environmental Safeguards Director at the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MOECC), Somaliland.

I am also an independent consultant, and trainer for different institutions such as government institutions, NGOs and INGOs in Somaliland.
