Abisola Peters
Abisola Peters is a dynamic legal and development professional committed to harnessing law, sustainability, and development to promote socio-economic growth and a healthy environment. With a solid foundation in law and development, Abisola seeks to leverage her expertise to contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and sustainability in Nigeria and Africa.
Abisola holds a First-Class LLB in Law and Politics and a Distinction in MA, Development and Human Rights from Swansea University, United Kingdom. She recently completed her studies at the Nigerian Law School, qualifying as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
Currently, she serves as an Associate Counsel in the Energy and Project Finance Group at Dentons ACAS-Law, a leading Nigerian law firm renowned for its expertise in corporate, commercial, and energy law. Abisola is also actively engaged in various professional organizations, including being a Fellow of the Legislative Mentorship Initiative (LMI), Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability (ICRS), and an Associate Member of the Association of Sustainability Professionals of
Nigeria (ASPN).
Beyond her professional pursuits, Abisola enjoys a balanced lifestyle, indulging in activities such as sports, movies, and reading about society. Inspired by Chadwick Boseman’s quote, “Purpose is not related to career. It is related to what God put inside you that you are supposed to give the world,” Abisola remains dedicated to making a positive impact on society through her work and contributions.
