Anthony Ndirangu is an accomplished environmental scientist with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Masinde Muliro university of Science and Technology. Currently, he works at the County Government of Nyeri in Kenya as a Climate Change Officer, where he uses his expertise to help communities cope with the impacts of climate change. Anthony is passionate about building resilience at the local level by promoting sustainable development and implementing nature-based solutions. He has gained extensive experience working in the field of climate change and has a deep understanding of the challenges facing communities in Kenya and around the world. Prior to joining the County Government of Nyeri, Anthony worked at the Institute of Climate Change at the University of Nairobi. While there, he assisted in research on nature-based solutions on climate change and led hundreds of students in climate action. He is an expert in climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies and has played a crucial role in the implementation of various projects aimed at mitigating the effects of climate change. Anthony is committed to making a positive impact in his community and beyond. He has been recognized for his exceptional work in the field of climate change, and his contributions have been instrumental in promoting sustainable development and building resilience in communities.
