Farhan Hassan Guhad
Farhan Hassan Guhad is an accomplished environmental scientist, climate negotiator, and public servant with a strong commitment to youth representation and environmental sustainability. He holds a degree in Environmental Studies from Management university of Africa (MUA) and has completed specialized training in climate negotiations with AGNES Africa. Farhan served as a Nominated Member of the County Assembly of Tana River, where he represented the youth and played a pivotal role in policy formulation, public resource oversight, and bill drafting.
With a background in emergency medical services, Farhan worked as a paramedic with the Kenya Red Cross, gaining valuable experience in crisis response and community care. He is also skilled in project management from Kenya Institute of management (KIM) and passionate about climate justice and sustainability. Farhan is dedicated to leveraging his expertise to drive meaningful change in local and global climate action.
