Clemence Mutegeri
Clemence Mutegeri is a self-motivated Development Practitioner and Climate and Health Advocate with more than 5 years’ hands–on experience in Public Health (HIV, TB, Malaria, SRHR, and COVID-19), WASH, Climate Action, Disaster Risk Management, and Human Rights & Civic Education. He is also an African Civic Engagement Academy (ACEA) Alumnus (First Cohort), 2022 Global Youth Climate Network (GYCN) Ambassador, and a member of the International AIDS Society (IAS) and World Patients Alliance (WPA). He has a B.Com in Economics and currently studying for a Master’s Degree in Diplomacy and International Relations at ADA University through the Heydar Aliyev International Education Grant awarded by the Republic of Azerbaijan. Having worked for more than 5 years for Women in Communities Zimbabwe, he is currently a part-time Monitoring & Evaluation Officer having spearheaded development and monitoring and evaluation of 6 project proposals that were funded by the Netherlands Embassy, French Embassy, Meta, Global GreenGrants Fund, and the current Gender Links and UNDP GEF SGP projects. A Climate Governance, Diplomacy, and Negotiations Leader trained by AGNES Africa and an ardent advocate for Sustainable Development. He was awarded the Heydar Aliyev Government Scholarship to study in Azerbaijan, and the AIDS 2024 Conference Scholarship to attend the 25th International AIDS Conference that was held in Munich, Germany.
