Louis MENDY
Louis MENDY, specialises in project management and sociolinguistics. He obtained his master’s degree in sociolinguistics from the Gaston Berger University in Saint Louis, Senegal. In 2008, he obtained his master’s degree in project management from the Institut Supérieur de Management (ISM) in Ziguinchor, Senegal. During his training in project management, he was already working in the world of development, where he has been working as a project coordinator for the past eight (08) years. He has just been certified in Governance, Diplomacy and Leadership in Climate Negotiations by the African Group of Negotiators Expert Support (AGNES).
Since 2020, he has been the representative of the NGO Eclosio in the Casamance region of Senegal and coordinator of the NGO’s projects in the region. He also has good skills in analysing value chains and market systems, and in supporting the reintegration of returning migrants. He is currently leading a carbon credit project called « Inclusive Markets for Producers in Mangrove Areas in Casamance and Sine Saloum (MIPRO) », the livelihoods component of the MANCO programme.
