Abate Abrham Tessema
Abate Abrham Tessema is a skilled economist with a Master’s degree in Economics. Based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He has extensive experience in the fields of water, energy, and environmental policy.
Abate currently serves as a Partnership Development Officer at the Ministry of Water and Energy, where he plays a key role in fostering collaboration and strengthening partnerships to advance sustainable energy initiatives. Prior to this role, he worked as an Economist in the WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) Department, as well as in the Environment and Climate Change Department, contributing valuable insights and strategies to address critical challenges in these areas.
Abate has also enhanced his expertise through various trainings, including Community Conversations, Environmental Policy Instruments, Inclusive Green Economy in Practice, Climate Governance, Diplomacy and Negotiations Leadership Program. These experiences have equipped him with the tools to engage effectively in discussions and negotiations around sustainable development.
